I have to tell you, this corn pudding is one of the things I look forward to at a holiday meal the most! I always make it for Christmas, Easter, and any other special occasion when I need a great, quick side dish. It goes really well as a side dish to turkey, ham, and chicken.
You will love that this side dish won’t take up any space in your oven! Just stir the ingredients together, pour it all into your Crockpot, and in 2 1/2 hours you have a delicious corn casserole!
The Ingredients for Slow Cooker Corn Casserole
The ingredients are very simple:
- 1 can yellow corn
- 1 can cream style corn
- Sugar
- Egg
- Sour Cream
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Melted butter
- 1 pouch cornbread mix (6-7 ounce package)

This could not be easier! Just add everything to the bowl…

Pour the corn casserole into your Crockpot, then slow cook on high for 2 1/2 hours. I always use my 3-quart Crockpot and it’s the perfect size.
That’s all it takes to make this awesome corn casserole!
Since this is made in a slow cooker, I always scoop the casserole into a different dish to serve.

Ingredients
- 1 can yellow corn, drained
- 1 can cream style corn
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (mild or medium sharpness)
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 pouch cornbread mix (6–7 ounce package)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
- Spray the inside of a slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the corn casserole batter into the slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker and set to high. Slow cook for approximately 2 ½ hours, until the center has set.
- Transfer the corn casserole to a serving bowl and serve hot.
