Spooky Black Cherry Float

Spooky Black Cherry Float

Welcome Halloween in your house with a delicious and spooky black cherry float! This is a fun drink for kids, but I also make a version just for the grown ups because we desert to enjoy the holiday too.

These tasty floats are made with Black Cherry Sparkling Ice, vanilla bean ice cream, homemade whipped cream, and ghoulishly cute sprinkles on top. The grown up cocktail option includes vanilla vodka.

Black Cherry Sparkling ICE

You will love how Sparkling Ice Black Cherry can be easily used to create festive mocktails/cocktails this Halloween season! I can also see this float being adapted beautifully to match any season.

I love to use Sparkling Ice in all sorts of drink recipes because it comes in 18 fizzy, fruity flavors with a splash of juice, colors and flavors from natural sources, with zero sugar, plus vitamins and antioxidants. It’s such a winner! This is a favorite drink in my house and I feel good about buying it for my family.

How to Make Spooky Black Cherry Floats – Mocktail Version

STEP 1: Fill a glass halfway with Black Cherry Sparkling Ice, then add 1-2 scoops of vanilla bean ice cream (or your favorite variety of vanilla ice cream).

You’ll see the ice cream and Sparkling Ice create a thick, creamy foam in the glass.

STEP 2: Pour in more Black Cherry Sparkling Ice until the glass is almost full.

Tip: pour slowly because as you add the Sparkling Ice you’ll create more fizz pretty quickly.

STEP 3: In a medium mixing bowl, beat 1 cup of cold heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer until thickened. Add 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, then beat until thick and creamy.

STEP 4: Add a generous dollop of the whipped cream to the top of each float. Finish with Halloween themed sprinkles.

How cute is this Spooky Black Cherry Float?! My daughter is going to love this treat on Halloween, for sure. Since we can’t do a whole lot of our normal activities this year, we plan to carve pumpkins, watch kid-friendly Halloween movies, and enjoy these floats as a sweet holiday drink.
