I have the weirdest situation in my cabinet right now. Somehow, some way, I’ve managed to collect bags upon bags of marshmallows. This was brought to my attention by my dear, ever patient husband who oh so gently pointed out my marshmallow collecting mania as the bags toppled out of the cabinet yet again when he was reaching for a coffee mug. “You need help” he said as I counted all the types of marshmallows and shoved them back into the cabinet. Ha!

Does this ever happen to you? When your cabinets become messy and you end up buying things you already have without realizing it? This is why I talk about doing a pantry inventory before going grocery shopping in this post.

You guys… I have issues. My husband is planning an intervention. Here I am holding six bags of marshmallows and there is also a bag in the freezer plus a bag of mini marshmallows in the cabinet. Someone please tell me WHY I feel the need to buy so many stinkin’ marshmallows for a household of two adults (one of which doesn’t eat marshmallows) and one child. It’s like I have some deep seated fear of being marshmallow-less when the desire for a s’more strikes… which is like, two or three times each summer. But if the apocalypse comes, don’t worry about me… I’ll be in my backyard toasting marshmallows for at least a few months. #momlife #marshmallows #foodhorder
