You’ll love this bread and honey butter so much you’ll just have to share! I really like to give homemade gift baskets during the holidays. It’s such a sweet and personal thing to make a gift for a friend or family member.
Here are my tips for making a gift basket:
1. Collect baskets throughout the year. I always find them for next to nothing at yard sales. Have plenty of beautiful baskets on hand to whip up a homemade gift basket whenever you need one.
2. Use ribbon to decorate your basket and tissue paper as filler.
3. Fill your basket with an assortment of wonderful items; both homemade and purchased.
To make my gift basket I used a pretty medium sized basket ($1.00 at a yard sale!), white tissue paper (was 50% off after last Christmas), red ribbon, my homemade English Toasting Bread and Cinnamon Honey Butter, and totally impressive Whipped honeys, honeycomb in a jar, and olive oil from Don Victor.
I also purchased an extra jar of the honey with honeycomb for my family. It was fun to show my daughter the honeycomb!
This basket filled with breakfast (or anytime!) goodies is really going to make the receiver feel special! Wouldn’t you love to get a basket like this?!
