Description
Delicious, buttery rice the whole family will love! Perfect side dish for fish, grilled chicken, or roast beef.
Ingredients
1 cup uncooked white rice
1 10.5 ounce can French onion soup
1 14 ounce can reduced sodium beef broth
4 tablespoons butter
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
2. Combine the French onion soup, beef stock, and rice in an ungreased 9×9 inch casserole dish.
3. Cut the butter into approximately 12 pats and lay the butter pats on top of the rice mixture in the casserole dish.
4. Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes.
5. Very carefully remove the foil and continue baking for another 30 minutes (avoid the hot steam!).
Cool slightly before serving. Makes 6 servings.
