We are a hummus loving family. My daughter called it “Thomas” until just recently. I was kind of sad when she finally started saying “hummus” because “Thomas” is just cuter!
We usually eat hummus with pita chips, but when Kroger had these pretzel crisps on sale I thought we’d try them out. YUM!
But then I couldn’t leave it at hummus and pretzel crisps… I turned the chips into a yummy sweet treat!
Lay out some of the pretzel crisps on a cookie sheet lined with foil:
Cut each marshmallow in half and lay them, cut side down, on each pretzel crisp. I use two marshmallow halves (one whole marshmallow) per pretzel crisp:
Turn your oven to broil and bake the s’mores until the marshmallows are toasted on top. Keep a very close eye on the marshmallows while they’re baking! Do not walk away! I keep the oven light on and watch through the oven window as the marshmallows toast. It will take just a couple of minutes.
Place one square of Hershey’s chocolate on each s’more. Turn the oven off then return the s’mores to the oven for about 1 minute to let the chocolate melt. Top each s’more with a second pretzel crisp:
These are MESSY! But oh so delish!
