I am looking forward to the Super Bowl, but it has little to do with football. It’s my excuse to throw a party and make yummy food! I’ve made a few things recently that were so delicious I had to get them out of my house fast before me and my family ate it all. For our normal daily meals, we eat a balanced diet of foods lower in calories, fat, and sodium and high in all of the good things. BUT for special occasions I am all for eating for FUN!
Here are some awesome recipes that are purely for fun and deliciousness… perfect for a Super Bowl party!
Browned Butter Cream Cheese Chocolate Chunk Bars. Yeah, I know it’s a long name!
Buffalo Mozzarella Sticks. Mozzarella sticks deep fried and then dipped in homemade buffalo sauce served with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
My own semi-famous version of Buffalo Chicken Lasagna.
Lasagna Stuffed Garlic Bread. This is a great way to use up leftover lasagna!
I don’t know why, but people LOVE banana pudding. Well, yes I do… because it’s delicious! I am a big fan of the cupcake version: Banana Pudding Cupcakes.
This stuff… it’s addicting! Fiesta Corn Dip.
Maybe some fresh fruit will help sop up all of the fat in this Super Bowl post? Apple Nachos
This Marinated Baked Sandwiches with Caramelized Onions recipe has to be my favorite thing in this post! They’re soooooo yummy!
Peanut Butter Icebox Cake is so simple to put together and a really special treat.
So glad my mother-in-law shared this delicious Bacon Cheeseball recipe with me! It’s a family favorite.
Let’s end this fatty food fest with the ultimate in chocolaty desserts: Coca-Cola Cake. You are welcome.
Enjoy the Super Bowl and eat responsibly!
