Moms, we really do have a lot on our plates, don’t we? Work, cleaning, family activities, church, errands… so much more! I feel that making sure our children have something nourishing on their plates for lunch should be the easiest task we have to do in the morning.

I’m out the door for work by 6AM. I am NOT a morning person, so everything I do in the morning is rooted in one simple concept: fast. The simpler my morning routine, the more sleep I can get! So to make lunch prep for my daughter easy, we have a drawer of lunchbox ready foods all set to grab and go.

Other simple lunch items that need to be refrigerated are always easily accessible. My daughter loves to pack her lunch box!

We here in my house are the ultimate Horizon® fans! I’ve been giving my daughter their milk boxes since she was a year old. When we traveled and wouldn’t have access to a refrigerator on the road, these were the perfect way to make sure I had milk on hand for her.

When my daughter was a toddler, we had a very difficult time getting rid of the bottle. When she had weaned from nursing at 15 months old, she took to the bottle and did NOT want to give that up. I was really struggling with it. Then I got smart… I stocked up on Horizon® Milk Boxes and set one on my night stand every night. When Willow would wake up in the morning she absolutely demanded a bottle. That is until I would show her the milk box! She loved them even more than she loved the bottle. So thank you to Horizon® for helping me break my daughters bottle habit in a gentle way!

My girl is in preschool now. A few weeks ago it was her turn to bring snack for her class and she was so excited! Preschool class snack is extra work for the parents, but the kids feel like it’s such an honor to bring the snack. I decided to make this project easy for me and extra special for my girl. Willow was so proud to bring Horizon® Milk Boxes to share with all of her friends! We served the mix boxes along with veggie sticks and grapes. Win!

The Horizon® Squeeze Pouches are a fun, easy to grab on the go, and a less-mess snack solution. My girl is a fan!

Speaking of being a fan… have you heard about the new Peanuts Movie coming out on November 6th? I noticed that the Horizon® products I just bought at Walmart have cute Peanuts Movie themed packing. Can’t wait to take my girl to see that movie! Check out The Peanuts Movie trailer by clicking here.

I feel really confident that Horizon® products provide my daughter with important nutrients. The milk boxes contain 8 grams of protein, are an excellent source of protein, contain no high fructose corn syrup, the chocolate milk is flavored with organic cocoa, and the vanilla milk is flavored with organic vanilla extract. Super Squeeze Fruit Pouches are made with real fruit and organic milk, provide 5 grams of protein, and are also an excellent source of calcium.

What do you pack in your child’s lunch?

Have a great day!

I've never seen the milk pouches before. Those are a great way to make in-the-go snacks more diverse and tidy! I love pouches. They've been a lifesaver with our busy schedule and twin toddlers.

My little guy is too young for lunchboxes yet – but we use Horizon milk for trips to the park 🙂 #client
