I didn’t want to open an Instagram account for the longest time. My husband was Instagraming, my friends on Facebook were Instagramming… but I was absolutely not Instagramming.
My reason for rejecting IG was that I did not need yet another form of social media in my life. “It’s just people posting pictures and that’s it?!” I wondered to myself. Yes… that’s all. And it’s awesome.
When I finally gave in and started my account, I went in head first. As if I already hadn’t been sharing enough pictures on Facebook, Instagram gave me a new way to show my friends and family a teeny little glimpse into my crazy life.
Then along came The Blog (as in, this one you’re reading now)… I refused to use my Instagram to promote or be connected with my blog in anyway because I wanted to keep at least one social media account for just personal use. I maintained that stance for more than a year… then gave in. It’s such a fun place to show what I’m blogging about!
Now I follow quite a few amazing bloggers on Instagram. Their pictures are so inspirational! Since I love to share food ideas and recipes with you, I thought I’d dedicate this post to showing off the work of a few talented food bloggers.
